I enjoyed your character art and your interpretation of the prompt! I was playing on a laptop so I think that messed with the resolution a bit and made the post-its hard to read. Nice game overall though!

fun little game and super cute!

Cool art, some of the colors sort of blend together and make it difficult to read. Music was kinda trippy  too nice work

Controls are alittle fast and loose, and it's over before you really realize what's going on fully. I was hoping the art would be as quality as the title tile is, so that was slightly disappointing. Sounds were cool, nice work!

I loved playing your game so much I was sad every time the timer ran out! Initially I wasn't sure how exactly I was supposed to keep the plants/fungus alive but through a little trial and error it became obvious. Loved the art and their busy little farming animations, nice work!

I spent half my time in your game just trying to adjust the settings and the other half fighting off motion sickness. I am a relative novice when it comes to game making so I'm not sure I can give you great advice but I think the camera controls were your biggest enemy in this game. It definitely looks like an ambitious project and what art I need encounter was cool! I know game jams are super chaotic and being able to submit a playable game is a huge accomplishment in itself! Good job!

The art is stunning, the music is so elegant and chill, and the joined together concept is really unique! I really enjoyed how the landscaped changed as you scoot along. Nice job!

I think how you used the joined together theme is rather clever! The art is fantastic and the music sets the vibe beautifully. Well done!

All game jams are hard, but the first one is always the most chaotic and difficult. Even submitting is an accomplishment, and your concept was rad! Looking forward to your next jam game!

Interesting game, I liked the art the most!

Its a really fun game and easy to play, the joined together theme isn't really obvious in the game play which is both good and bad i suppose. Definitely feels like it belongs in an arcade hall so nice job

Beautiful art and really cool idea for the prompt! I'd love to see where you take this game with more time. You should be proud!

(1 edit)

Since I don't have Unity on my computer I can't run your game. Based off your screenshots I can tell that you had a really cool idea for the prompt, and I'm excited to see what you do next jam!

Unfortunately I couldn't play the game because I didn't have the program to open the file :( The screenshots had me very intrigued though, better luck next jam!

This is the only text adventure game I've seen in the whole jam. Really interesting use of the prompt!

Great job for your first jam! I loved the broken bones counter so that you can monitor how close you are to death by doggo! The bark sound was so real my pupper thought their was another dog in the house!

The art and music for your game are really good! It's a little unclear what the controls are doing in relation to the heart character but I had fun trying nonetheless!

Nice work for a 48 hour game :)

This game feels like you had much longer than 48 hours to complete it, and I hope you take that as the complement I intend it to be! I loved the art, and the option to beef up your slimes into little swoll bois. Good Job!

Cool idea for a game! It took a minute to get used to the controls, I think that limiting to only the left and right arrows was a little frustrating as a player. I enjoyed the music and the puns though, well done!

Nice interpretation of the prompt! I loved the story that you developed. The controls had my hockey games looking like pure chaos as a single non-ambidextrous player. Still I enjoyed the wit in game the most! Well done.

Really great art and atmosphere! And it's nice and simple to understand, which I think is really good for a jam game like this. One feature that might be cool is to be able to go in either direction around the planets, depending on the angle that you come in at, just to make it even smoother. Really good job!

Beautiful game! I tried a couple of different combinations of key bindings and never really found one that was super comfortable to me, but I guess that was the point! I'd be curious to know if one setup is generally the easiest. I ended up trying to keep jumps and dash off the same keys, but maybe that messed me up. Definitely a lot to explore with this one, good job!

The advice from Yorsh sounds good to me. And we also ran short on time, even without a puzzle game! So I think it's pretty universal haha. Another way to implement the AI could have been to just completely randomize moves? Although I don't know how long that would have taken either. In any case, this seems like one of those simple to learn hard to master games, and I'm super impressed that you were able to come up with it and even get it as implemented as you did within the time frame. This is one of the most complete feeling games I've played this year, I definitely think this warrants more work, if you wanted to keep developing it! Really good job!

This is a fun idea, and I really like the stormy vibe! I agree that it would be nice to remove the junk once it has been placed, but I could also see how that could be exploited to climb forever with just one or two pieces, so you'd have to be careful! Also I did manage to get stuck in the wall at one point and couldn't continue. It might be nice to have checkpoints at each stop that you could revert to, just in case that happens. Other than that, really good job, I enjoyed it!

Nice little puzzle game! I agree with others that it would be nice to be able to hold space to keep attracting the batteries, and maybe also if there was some kind of indicator on the characters for how far away the attraction would reach. But that didn't stop me from enjoying the game, good job!

Really impressed with how good these puzzles were with such a short period to make them in, really good job! Definitely got burned once when I moved a red slime onto a sewer at the same time I moved next to the sewer, didn't think it was going to infect me haha. Overall really great submission!

I agree with others that this is a really cool idea, and also really hard! I was pretty much fully concerned with defending my ship rather than collecting scrap, and even then I wasn't doing a great job of it. I imagine if I were to spend long enough working at it I might be good enough to make a real run of it though, and that it would feel really good to beat!

I like the look of your game! I agree that some feedback would help, it wasn't ever immediately obvious what was happening after I pushed a button. Also, for some reason that I was never able to understand, after the first puzzle where you create the bridge, I didn't always get the same thing in the level: sometimes I got a box to push onto a button that would let me continue (unless I soft-locked myself by putting both boxes to the right of the ramp that is created,) and sometimes I would get a ledge that I could only get up by climbing on the other box, and when I continued the level, it reset me for no clear reason. It wasn't bad to play, but it seemed kind of inconsistent and confusing, but I did like how it looked and felt, so I'm sure with more time it would come out really good!

I had a lot of fun playing this game! Each time a germ would hit and I'd lose part of my little herd it was like a pang in my heart haha. The start is a little challenging because I thought I could used my vaxed friends to catch more friends but it could only be me, as my herd grew I could more clearly see the vax bubble we were in. Really nice game!

First impressions of  this game are so good. The art is simple and easy to read, which fit the chill vibe of the music perfectly. I struggled slight with the controls, and found the circles snapped to one another at the exact wrong time if I wasn't paying enough attention. Overall all the game is really satisfying to play, well done!

I loved playing your game, such a cool take on the concept. The physics took a bit to pick up so I found myself occasionally at a stand still. I am also slight sad I was never able to master a solid spidey trebuchet. Definitely see the potential!

Interesting game, resets and scoring are a bit unclear but that music tho

A really nice lo-fi game, and interesting adaptation of the concept. Nice work!

I loved your game! Art and animations are cool, the concept is great, and sure the music is good but the death scream had me rolling

Fun and challenging game. The physics can let you get away with a lot, which I appreciate :) Well done!

Nice work! I like how there were multiple approaches to clearing the rounds depending on what you joined your ship with. At one point I had a small shield of enemy ships that I fed to the saw, very satisfying.

Really interesting idea!

It's amazing you accomplished all this 48 hours! Really cool game, the sounds are really retro and well suited for the game. I liked the ninja's death animation - like exploding bug guts. Well done!
